About Us

Abaya Tul Taqwa makes abayas that are modest in shape and generous in care: calm colours, soft fabrics, and one beautiful detail on every design.

The Neelam Leaf Abaya, worn on a white staircase

What the name means

Taqwa is an Arabic word for the quiet awareness of God that shapes how a person lives: what they say, how they treat others, and how they carry themselves. Abaya Tul Taqwa means the abaya of taqwa.

We chose it as a reminder to ourselves. An abaya is worn for a reason, and it deserves to be made with the same care: honest fabric, a cut that covers without weighing you down, and detail that rewards a closer look.

Abaya Tul Taqwa began with a simple wish: abayas that are modest in shape and generous in care. We choose every design for one beautiful detail, a bead, a pleat, a line of lace, and keep everything around it calm, so the abaya never shouts.

Our fabrics are chosen to be soft against the skin and easy to live in: matte Nida that drapes, crepe that travels well, satin for the days that call for a little shine. Cuts are generous, sleeves are wide, and every abaya is offered in lengths from 52 to 60 inches.

We sell directly, which is why every order starts with a conversation. You tell us the design and your length; we confirm the price, the delivery and the details on WhatsApp, and then your abaya is on its way.
